Nicholas Wood, who goes by the name Saccades and is also one-half of the duo known as The KVB, has announced his upcoming album titled "Land of The Hearth". The album is set to be released on August 25th under an exciting new label called Old World - New World Recordings. Along with the announcement, he has shared the first song from the album, "New Star Line", accompanied by a music video.
Nicholas Wood introduced the Saccades project in 2017 with a self-titled debut album. This album marked a departure from The KVB's dark atmosphere and icy soundscapes, instead featuring stripped-down psychedelic guitars. He followed up his debut with a second album, "Flowing Fades", which was released in April 2021.
Now, he’s making a comeback with news of his third Saccades album, "Land of the Hearth". The title is inspired by a quote from Jonathon Meades. In this album, Saccades shows an appreciation for house music. “Land of the Hearth” emphasizes synthesizers and feel-good vibes, complemented by dreamy vocals and carefree guitar sounds.
