Rocket Rules from Melbourne Release Self-Titled EP "St" – A 5-Track Bedroom-Recorded Dream of Shoegaze and Dreampop
Melbourne-based band Rocket Rules have officially released their highly anticipated self-titled EP St, a five-track exploration of shoegaze and dreampop soundscapes. Dropped on September 24, 2024, the EP was uniquely recorded in the intimate setting of their apartment bedroom, giving the project a raw, personal touch that enhances its atmospheric charm.
All tracks on the EP were written by the band’s frontman Bax, with the exception of Pacer, a cover of the iconic track by Kim Deal. With its shimmering guitars, reverb-drenched melodies, and introspective vocals, St perfectly captures the ethereal yet grounded essence of both shoegaze and dreampop.
Available now on Bandcamp, St is a must-listen for fans of lo-fi production and genre-blurring musical experimentation, further establishing Rocket Rules as a standout in the Australian indie scene.
